In October 2006, on the way to my brother's wedding in Bangalore, India, I stopped in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for ten hours. The airlines accommodated us in a hotel, so that we could take a break from the 22 hours of travel time in the air, from Los Angeles to Bangalore. I spent most of the break sleeping in my hotel room.
