In October 2006, my brother, Dan Rodríguez married Anupama Chandrasekhar in Bangalore, India. I was blessed to be able to join my family for the week-long wedding ceremony there. The colors, aromas, tastes, activity, sounds and soulfulness of India were a treat to my senses. Having practiced Yoga for five years, it was wonderful to be in the place where Yoga was birthed. I fell in love with beautiful Bangalore. Inhabited by a population who embraces differences in culture and religion, Bangalore resounds with a spirit of hospitialty, love and joy, despite her pervasive poverty.
