During an evening Mass, our five year old son Elias sketched, with pencil and paper, the most beautiful rendition of the crucified Christ that I had ever seen. Borrowing Elias’ design, and altering it some, I created this painting for him. I dedicate it as a prayer for Elias, that he may regain the hearing in his right ear, which he lost at the age of four due to a virus. The painting hangs above Elias' bed. Thanks be to God and the fervent prayers of many believers, Elias' hearing is much improved. |
