Kathy Gallegos, owner and director of the nonprofit Ave 50 Studio, curates the show. Kathy founded the gallery more than ten years ago. Kathy is Cuban-Puerto-Rican. She is a strong force in the community and in bringing Latino art to the forefront.

Gil Garcetti, photographer and former Los Angeles District Attorney, discusses his Mexican heritage and his photographs of Cuba which are part of the show.
Cuban Ashé artist Eddy Bello-Sandoval discusses her painting on the Orishas and Santeria.
Professional Cuban dancer Kati Hernandez and Cuban dancer-drummer Pedro Muñeco Aguilar perform with percussionists for the guests.
